Calvary Nampa Residency

CFC Residency and Cohort Program

Calvary Nampa conducts our Residency Program in conjunction with The Calvary Family of Churches. The goal of the residencies and cohorts is to equip and encourage participants for ministry in the local church or on the mission field. Residencies and cohorts are led by experienced ministry practitioners who embody the CFC core values of loving shepherd leadership, gospel-centered theology and multiplication-minded vision.

Missions Cohort (virtual)

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” -Matthew 28:19

Want to learn about God’s heart for the nations? Want to join others and learn what it means to be sent? Feel called to go to the global missions field?

Join us for the 2024-2025 Missions Cohort (September-May) to receive practical training on the history and purpose of missions, cross-cultural communication, contextualized evangelism, discipleship, apostleship, mission strategy, and what it means to gladly spend and be spent for the sake of souls. We will also learn and practice how to apply it all right where we are, together.

Take the first step in joining God in His global mission…to the ends of the earth! Contact CFC Missions Director, Robbie Halleen.

Preaching & Shepherding Cohorts (local)

Calvary Nampa offers Preaching and Shepherding cohorts as able according to interest in the programs.

  • Preaching - 1x/month – An opportunity for both learning and practicing preaching amongst brothers who are all seeking to hone and sharpen those skills for God’s glory. Participants receive tips and instruction combined with opportunities for practicing “mini-sermons” with the cohort and receiving feedback and encouragement.

  • Shepherding - 1x/month – Cohort participants engage in reading assignments and discussions focused on biblical shepherding concepts and practices, with opportunities for observing and participating in a shepherding model common throughout Calvary Family Churches.

If you are interested in joining an ongoing cohort or learning more about the opportunities, please contact Anders Snyder.
